MLM Business Opportunities and the 5 Stages of Growth

At a recent company conference in Las Vegas, one of my mentors and the company

Vice President of Marketing shared his theories on how an MLM Business grows

and what to look for when selecting a company. This may help you better understand

what we offer here -

There is a myth in the MLM Industry that a company
goes through 4 stages of growth. There are actually 5:
 
Foundation (just getting started)
Concentration (first 2 - 5 years)
Momentum (straight up ward growth)
Stability (no more growth but strong sales)
 
The myth is that either you get in at the beginning stages of
momentum or you will most likely miss the boat.
 
My experience shows that companies go through various stages of
growth which I've labeled by number.
 
Stage 1 is startup
 
Stage 2 is when a group of marketers (usually with M L M
experience) get involved and start recruiting others into
the program. This time is usually hard for most because
everything is so "open" to go up, down or
out of existence at any given time.
 
Stage 3 is when a 2nd group of marketers see the company's growth
and jump in and build faster than those who got in at stage 1.
 
Stage 4 is when the company has their 3 stories up and running
(company, compensation and management)...this stage usually
is when fastest growth up to that current time period) takes place.
Its when both the masses and successful "non" M L Mers start
coming on board and its also when record groups are built
in record time...this usually lasts a few years (in my
experience it averages 3-5 years.
 
Stage 5 is when the company (now going into semi stability in the
USA market) starts to implement international strategy.....each
international market has stages of growth with the exception of
the stage 1 is usually by-passed because the international
market can feed off of the 3 stories that are in place in the USA...
 
There can be many stages of continued growth in any stable market
place with the introduction of a new blockbuster product division.
